It Started With Solving a Problem

With over 25 years of executive-level administrative, sales, and customer service experience, CEO and Founder, Ms. Kenya Allen, MSW, LMSW found herself hitting a glass ceiling in her career. Frustrated with consistently outgrowing high executive-level administrative positions within two years, she decided it was time to pivot. 

Burnt out from providing revenue/growth generating ideas without receiving proper credit nor compensation, Ms. Allen returned to university to pursue her master’s in social work with a clinical concentration degree. A class assignment prompted Ms. Allen to brainstorm on this idea. How could she combine her 20 years of executive-level admin skills and business expereince, with her MSW degree? The answer came during one of her internships at a non-profit. Seeing a critical business need that left unaddressed, would negatively impact the non-profit, Ms. Allen stepped in and offered her expertise. She seized the opportunity to marry her business experience and MSW knowledge to solve the complex problem. After receiving a positive result beyond what she imagined, Ms. Allen knew she was the answer to small businesses, non-profits, and churches who had the vision for growth but were struggling with their administrative processes to get it done.
